Although China is certainly a world power, its not one on the same scale as the United States. If China poses a threat to world peace then what does the military activity of the United States pse? Neither country has a perfect record on human rights or militarism but the U.S. is unique in its extension of itself as a power across the globe. It is possible to see the currently vaunted 'China threat' as a response to American militarism wordwide.
