Just because we're so busy cooking a ham and baking a cake, Global will enter the new year with a list of not resolutions, but of mergers in the twelve days of Christmas, actually in the last half of the month of December.

In surprising news (is there any such thing?) the last Communist super-state, China, officially blessed a merger between two power companies.
