Get Headlines:
Norman Finkelstein, the son of Auschwitz survivors, criticizes the current round of suits against hundreds of European banks, insurance companies and corporations by those representing Jewish survivors of the Holocaust. The World Jewish Congress, the Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany and the World Jewish Restitution Conference have gone too far he says. He is now known for coining the phrase 'The Holocaust Industry' after writing a book with that title. He sees these suits as one of the the underlying reasons behind the resurgence of anti-semitism across the continent.
