Bombing Triggers Israeli Airstrikes
or so said the Washington Post on May 19, 2001 in reference to the unleashing of F-16s against a civilian population. The Washington Post did not mention that 17 Palestinians had been killed in the week from May 10-16, 2001 before the suicide bomber killed himself and four Israelis. As a matter of fact The Washington Post rarely mentions Israeli violence against Palestinians except to say that it is in retaliation for Palestinians violence. However, that is not often the case.
